Per-Simon Kildal Foundation was founded in 2019 in loving memory of Professor Per-Simon Kildal by his wife and two daughters to commemorate his contributions to the antenna society. The main purpose of the foundation is to promote scientific research and development within the field of antennas and propagation. This is fulfilled through donations of grants and awards to students (master or doctoral degree) or researchers, who are active within the field.

EURAAP PER-SIMON KILDAL AWARD
In cooperation with European Association on Antenna and Propagation (EurAAP) the Per-Simon Kildal Award for best PhD in Antennas & Propagation has been created in memory of Professor Per-Simon Kildal (1951-2016). The main purpose is to keep alive Prof Kildal’s legacy as well as to foster the work of young researchers in the fields of Antennas and Propagation. The Award will be presented every year at the banquet of the European Conference on Antennas and Propagation (EuCAP).

EUROPEAN SCHOOL OF ANTENNAS AND PROPAGATION
Per-Simon Kildal Foundation makes a donation each year to the European School of Antennas and Propagation (ESoA). ESoA was founded in 2004 and has courses distributed over research centers all over Europe. The aim is to spread knowledge and increase collaboration between Universities and Industries, as well as help young researchers to interchange ideas and find valuable connections within the field.
